I feel as if I am coming out of the closet here, from behind the looking glass of the blog world, waiting to discover what is on the other side. I've been reading fashion blogs for over a good year now, and with the faint attempt, (and fail?) of trying to start an online magazine, brings me here.
Inspiration: one word, one big meaning. I try and pull it from every aspect of daily life, but what really keeps me going is: music, photography, innovative design, and personal styling. I love how two girls (or guys) can wear the same outfit in totally different ways.
One of my favorite photographers, Tommy Tom usually achieves three of the above four, in his photos. Below are some pictures of his from Fall 2011 Fashion circut.
Tying into the "inspiration" tangent, here are some mood boards I created a bit ago, reflecting my mood for current "springtime" in Chicago - nature, simplicity, architecture, vintage denim, unabashed spontaneity, and anything with a little sparkle to it.
